  • Candlelit Yin - Yoga Class

ARC Climbing, 1981 Old Burwash Road, Sudbury, ON
    Sunday, November 19 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Welcome to Candlelit Yin!

Lit by candlelight and the perfect way to wrap up your weekend and head into the coming week, our yin class invites stillness of mind and body with gentle poses that stretch the body's connective tissues.

Yin helps to soothe and relax the nervous system, increase flexibility in the low back, hips, pelvis, spine and shoulders, and target the energetic systems of the body, bringing the body into balance and increasing its natural range of motion. Most poses are done while seated or lying down and are held in stillness for 3-5 minutes. Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to the more active lifestyles we lead.

This practice will help you cultivate calm and stillness of mind and body, and leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and restored.

This class is room temperature and 60 minutes.

  • Salt Cave Healing Sessions

Alive + Fit, 221 Regent, Sudbury, ON
    Saturday, November 25 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Relax and rejuvenate in our Salt Cave with a salt therapy session. Halotherapy has long been used in European hospital settings to naturally treat asthma, bronchitis, COPD, emphysema, allergies, stress, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and more.

The negative ions of the salt cave have a natural calming effect on the nervous system. The neutralizing forces of salt can cancel out harmful electromagnetic vibrations in our environment & body.
